Kindness and Grace in the life of Jovanny Green chronicles the life of a mother and son who manage the ups and downs of life on the neurodivergent spectrum. The duo love being out in their community, but there is always a looming fear that one day, something bad will happen to Jovanny at the hands of the very people who are trained to protect and serve. Jeanne, Jovanny's mother, a tireless advocate on his behalf, wants to be reassured that, if called, first responders know how to handle her son and others like him. The film helps illustrates how each one of us needs to give each other--and ourselves--kindness and grace, especially when we are going through, or living a life filled with challenging experiences.
